Let’s Test!: REVOLUTION Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation

The foundation that people can’t seem to stop talking about at the moment is this one from Makeup REVOLUTION! A lot of the hype comes from the love for the concealer from this same range… let’s see if the foundation is just as good or a disappointment (.﹒︠₋﹒︡.)

  1. Lauren Reale says:

Hi Cassie! I really liked this video, and other than the shade is a bit too light, I thought it looked lovely on you, especially applied with the sponge. I have always had a problem finding the right shade match. I’d love a true pro to tell me what the perfect shade matches are for me and exactly what I should be looking for. I come close, but I feel like I miss the exact correct mark. I often use high end products, which is frustrating if I get the shades wrong. I know you can return or exchange usually, but I just don’t like to do that. Just wish I could get it exactly right without being too light, too dark, too yellow, too pinky, etc. I know how and where to try and get the match-just don’t have a good eye for doing it. I’m often pulling my husband over to color charts for his opinion! Okay, I’m 60. Everyone thinks I’m younger and I have good skin except for 3 age spots/sunspots on and around my left cheek that I developed in my early 30’s and they’ve only worsened. I hope to afford laser sometime in the next couple of years to eliminate them, which would make me so happy. Anyway, even at 60, I do have one oily area, and that is my forehead that I wipe with a tissue several times a day because I forget to bring an important product with me. My point in saying this is that I know oily skin is a big problem for you and I don’t know if you’ve tried a product that someone suggested to me years ago. Don’t remember the price-not too expensive I think. If you are anything like me you pay any price anyway if it helps a chronic problem on your face. It is…..”Neutrogena shine control rice protein complex, 30018106, Invisible 10″. It’s in a round navy blue mirrored compact, and although they provide a round thin puff/pad, I apply with my largest sot brush. It’s important to sweep all over oily areas and I am sure to go right up into the hairline all over. I apply quite a bit with light soft sweeps and at least on me, it does not settle on the makeup in fine lines or creases at all. I will say that although it claims to work all day, I like to re-apply once or twice. The makeup guru who told me about this said the secret is that it is RICE POWDER, unlike others, which is much more absorbent. She was right and I always use this product. I’ve had this for at least a year and I think I’ll buy a fresh one soon, just because I think it’s time-not because I’m running out, so that shows it lasts! I know you have more areas so it may not last as long, but it’s certainly worth it. I don’t know if you know this tip about rice powder or not. If you didn’t, I hope I gave you a tip that helps you. Thank you for the great video. If I think I can find a reasonable light match I might try it. My skin tone is similar to yours. Glad to see you looking happy Cassie-you always cheer me when I see you! 😉

Thank you so much for giving us close ups in real time. I can’t stand those photo shopped photos- it’s so frustrating. If I wanted to see a super model in perfection I would look at a magazine. You. Are. So. Refreshing. Please keep doing you. So grateful <3

    Love that nail color Cassie!

  5. Pants says:

Definitely didn’t look like it had a good shade for me. I’m a slightly warm neutral, light/medium olive. Nice about it not clinging to dry spots though.

Good job fighting your dermatillomania urges. I’ve been having less luck lately.

Also, I just wanted to say that your eyes are really pretty. I’m always struck by what a nice colour and shape they are and everything. Whatever mascara you’re using right now looks nice on you.
